John D. Green
6am - 10am Weekdays
Well, it all started many… scratch that… not so many years ago in the swamps of the Southwest (Okay, so it was a desert). After showing an aversion to doing real work I started “working” weekends at the local radio station. After making several stops along the way I landed in the Mid-Ohio Valley in the summer of 2002 and have had a complicated relationship with my alarm clock ever since. Thanks for spending your mornings with us!
3pm - 7pm Weekdays
I'm Darlene and originally hail from Cleveland, which makes me a loyal Browns and Indians fan. The family
and I moved to the Mountain State after I graduated broadcasting school. My radio career started soon after we relocated and now here it is two decades later. I take pleasure in all types of music but country has
always been a favorite of mine. I'll also admit, there isn't a song Jason Aldean could sing that I wouldn't
enjoy. After a few stops over the years, I'm happy to have found a pad here at Froggy Country.
7pm - 12m Weekdays
I’m Lia. The host. The Facilitator. The sticky substance that holds the stories together with the songs. I’m the gal who can’t for the life of me keep a secret yet everyone seems to tell me their secrets anyway. I love my job. I’m happily married to the luckiest guy on earth, Chad. I have 4 kids. All of them smart, spoiled and love country music. In my spare time I play word games, mind games and lock myself in the bathroom for 5 minutes of peace at least once a day. Here’s a secret about me: I never talk on the phone when I’m not at work. That could be because I do it every night for hours. My sisters complain constantly about me never calling them back. Even my husband occasionally goes to voice mail.
Country Gold Saturday Night
7pm - 10pm Saturdays
Country music fans have been asking for it and we’re going to give it to them! Our listeners have been telling us that they miss that great old country from legendary artists like Johnny Cash, Merle Haggard, Willie Nelson and Loretta Lynn. So every Saturday night from 7-10 pm, we’ll reach back into the deep, dark, dusty files and play some of country music’s best from the past 50 years!
